Our dream has always been to have a hip, fun, and funky shop filled with one-of-a-kind art, unique stuff for the body, mind and home, and to provide an outlet to release your inner artist – all with cool music playing in the background. Basically the kind of store you always dreamed of finding, but never could – until now, of course!
We started working on this dream three years ago when we opened our shop and paint-your-own-pottery studio in the dining room of our bed & breakfast. Once our business outgrew our dining room, we found the perfect “little hole in the wall” in the village of Skaneateles, New York. Today we own Kebbie Loves Ken Paint Your Own Pottery & Gifts, located in the historic village of Skaneateles, along with a partnership with Why Ever Not! in Angie, Louisiana.
We could never have imagined the overwhelming response from customers and artists that has become part of our daily lives, as they are stopping in often to see what has changed and what is new. But our truest joy has been in providing an artistic outlet in places that did not have one before. We have mommies and daddies bringing in newborns for hand and footprint plates, great-grandparents painting gifts for the kids, and everything in between. Our goal is to take the person who says they have “no artistic talent whatsoever!” and prove them wrong. We are also happy to provide our local and global customers with one-of-a-kind custom-painted pottery.
